IPSUM

LOREM IPSUM IS THE WORKSHOP BASED ON THE YEARS OF MY EXPERIENCE IN ART, BRAND, GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN.

The name comes from the classic dummy text¹ of the printing and graphic design industry and was the first choice only because it's hard to register or to call it “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog²”. Ironically, my main concern on delivery is to never leave a “Lorem Ipsum” content behind. You can consider this my personal guideline. Or a tagline, just the same. Anyway, Lorem Ipsum in two words is still Lorem Ipsum and this doesn't mean a thing, not even spelled backwords. This gives me unlimited possibilities.

To compensate my bad english I expect your imagination. Maybe some jokes are lost this way, but besides my obsessive nature I still have the sense of humor*.

*Mandatory, this would be the second thing I expect from anyone. Otherwise, if I take everything seriously, I have to neglect myself.

DEVELOPMENT

Never ending project, the Lorem Ipsum site was made on a MSI laptop (not a Mac) with PHP, JavaScript and CSS mixes, created by abusing Wordpress, Google, Firefox, Firebug and the F5 key.

Not tested on IE and weird touchscreen devices. Trying to be as responsive as possible. HTML Valid. Almost.

Personal nu am gasit o explicatie logica a pasiunii pentru Twitter, chiar daca pe undeva am inteles conceptul de "conectare" pe care-l are la baza, dar daca bate Yahoo! Messenger presupun ca trebuie sa existe un motiv mai intemeiat de atat. In orice caz, se pare ca nebunia surclaseaza orice alta miscare a momentului pe "networking". Ceea ce face cu atat mai atractiva aceasta dependenta este faptul ca lista de contacte poate sa-ti "creasca intr-o zi cat la altii in zece", de unde si varietatea si mai mare de mesaje, urmariri si urmari. Ce gasesc cu adevarat interesant insa nu este aceasta ingramadeala de contacte (la care sincer nu le vad finalitatea practica, in afara de a pierde cateva ore in linkuri si linkuri ale linkurilor), ci diversitatea modalitatilor personale de promovare.

Fiecare vrea sa stie ce face celalalt, dar mai important, fiecare vrea ca celalalt sa stie ce face el in acest moment. Fapt pentru care majoritatea paginilor personale contin acel “follow me”, cu icoana aferenta.
Uite aici zboara pasarica! Si anume icoana Twitter, pasarica albastra, care se dovedeste foarte versatila in reprezentari, atata vreme cat se reduce la o simpla “pasarica”. Se pare ca pana si renuntarea la culoarea albastra a acesteia nu este o piedica in a recunoaste brandul.

Mai jos sint doar cateva exemple din infinitul stol al Twitter. Varietatea atat de mare a reprezentarilor ma conving de faptul ca nu putem vorbi de ideea de “cioara vopsita” (furt de identitate), atata vreme cat pentru cunoscatori aceste icoane intotdeauna au trimiteri foarte precise catre o singura marca.

Evident, ca “reactie normala” la orice lucru de succes, apar si “followers” care incearca sa culeaga din resturi si se folosesc de renume. Acestia pot prelua din nume si brand, dar nu cred ca parte din succes.

Print Screen de pe BankTwitter. Imi inchipui o banca reala in care angajatii au sarcina de serviciu un numar minim de “tweets”, din cauza careia clientii fac cozi la ghiseu ;)

Pe langa astea un stol intreg de marci si branduri care mai de care mai colorate si mai absurde, care incearca prin orice mijloace sa fie auzite, unele sub-branduri oficiale twitter, dar majoritatea cladite pe ideea renumelui. Un fel de cuc, care-si aseaza ouale in cuibul altora pentru a fi clocite…

Intre timp aceasta pasarica a influentat – la fel ca “fasolea” asta, liniile sinuoase vegetale – intregul sistem grafic al netului. Unii s-au incumetat pana acolo sa aplice pasarea pe logo. Fara nici o legatura, link sau sens. Cum este si asta de jos.

Teoretic aceasta recunoastere a marcii este pe undeva sustinuta de mesajele “follow me”, dar chiar si in cazul asta “pasaricile” au in sine caracteristici identitare unice, care vorbesc de marca. Una din conditiile primordiale ale identitatilor fiind exact aceasta unicitate, nu se poate sa nu apreciezi acest brand.

Fapt care ma determina sa fiu fan twitter.
Nu al serviciului, al brandului.

Vorba aia, poti sa ma urmaresti atata vreme cat nu-mi zgarii masina.
