A mix between a condensed Gothic and a typewriter, inspired by the technical fonts you find on charts, Ruler is meant to add a scientific look to the design, without being too elaborated. The Ruler font was created for longer paragraphs and smaller texts, but on headlines it works just as well.
Ruler was actually “born” from simplifying the Ruler Rounded version (the first from the Ruler series), this way the font has gained an extra readability falling back to the never-ending dilemma of designers, style versus function.
Because of its simple construction, this font is one of the most extended and fertile font in the portfolio, varying from Stencil to 3D versions, with all the projects open for other additions.
